Welcome to NALCHBP Telehealth Urgent Care. This app provides convenient access to qualified medical professionals 24/7, allowing you to have face-to-face visits on your mobile device without the need for appointments or referrals. All our providers are licensed and board-certified doctors, including pediatricians, who can diagnose conditions, recommend treatment plans, prescribe necessary medications, and provide sick slips for school or work. Some of the conditions we can treat include allergies, cold and flu symptoms, sinus congestion, fever, headaches, pinkeye, insect bites, earaches, rashes, cuts and scrapes, and much more.

<h2>How It Works</h2>
To begin, open the NALCHBP Telehealth app and create an account. Log in and choose a doctor from the list of available providers. You can review their profiles to see their information including spoken languages, state licensure, board certifications, professional affiliations, clinical interests, and education. During this process, you'll be asked to provide medical history for the patient, indicate your preferred pharmacy, and pay a $10 copayment for the visit.

Once you've selected a doctor, your virtual visit will begin within minutes. The doctor you chose will review your medical history and discuss your health issue with you. They will answer any questions you may have and recommend the next steps. If a prescription is necessary for your condition, it will be sent to a local pharmacy of your choice. On average, each visit lasts approximately 10 minutes.

After your visit, you can access clinical notes about the appointment on your account. These notes can be shared with your primary care provider or kept for your own records. Similarly, any prescriptions or sick slips written during the visit can also be found on your account.

In addition to the app, your NALCHBP Telehealth account is accessible online at www.nalchbptelehealth.org. You can also reach us by calling 888-541-7706.

The NALCHBP Telehealth app ensures your privacy with secure and HIPAA-compliant visits. Please note that this service is exclusively intended for NALC Health Benefit Plan High Option members. Our services are separate from your PPO provider network. If you are not a member of NALCHBP, you will be responsible for the full cost of any services received from our urgent care practice.

Lastly, please remember that telehealth is not suitable for emergencies. If you require immediate medical attention, please call 911.

If you are an Apple Health user, you have the option to share important health information with your provider during the video visit. Although sharing Apple Health data is optional, it can assist the provider in making a more accurate diagnosis by providing information such as heart rate, weight, and other health metrics.
